My first RTF post.

Hello world! I'm Miguel, in case the blog's title isn't working for some reason. Anyway, I have to write this prompt for my RTF305 class and I think it's very interesting. The reason I'm taking RTF305 is because the college of communication requires me to take it. That's horrible, I know, but I'm an Advertising/Plan II major so I have to take something outside of Ad; I'm sure many people are in the same situation. I looked over the syllabus for the class and I saw that we go over some Advertising towards the end of the class. I'm not sure what kind of Advertising it is or how much we go over, but I'm excited to go over that. I probably won't start taking major specific classes until the end of my sophomore year so a little glimpse is nice! I'm sure it'll be something along the lines of how advertising shapes consumerism or the impact it has had in the development of media. If it's something like that then it sounds interesting, if not, I'd like to know. Also, I have to share a link to a blog I visit frequently. This is embarrassing, but I will have to make it Perez Hilton, or however he chooses to spell his name  nowadays. Anyway, here's his link to Perez Hilton.
